SPRING TOUR WITH PIATCIONS (IT)

Well back from a great minitour with the legendary space rock band The Telescopes (UK) as support + backing band we are glad to could announce that Black Light White Light will team up with the italian psych/kraut band Piatcions on a spring tour. Two new concerts have just been added to the calender with more to come. The tour will begin in Copenhagen, Denmark at 11th April 2012 and take the bands around Scandinavia and then continue later in May with some dates in Italy.

We will play a very exclusive in-store concert in the record store Stereo Studio in the central Copenhagen, Denmark Saturday the 11th of February at 2.30 pm. This is free public show and a kick-off for our coming February tour with the legendary English space rock band The Telescopes that will begin in Odense the 15th of February. Do spread the word and be sure drop in if you are near by.

Black Light White Light will head around Scandinavia to play live the first dates in 2012 supporting the release of our debut album "Infrared Daylight". First we will play a very special instore concert in central Copenhagen on Saturday February 11th in the music store Stereo Studio. Just a few days after we will join the legendary english spacerock/shoegaze band The Telescopes as support as well as backing band. This is truly going to be a special experience you don't wanna miss. More live dates for this spring are going to be added soon.

A Happy New Year to you all and thanks for dropping by (once again). We are really looking forward to the year 2012 following up on "Infrared Daylight" album release in September last year and quite a lot of travelling around performing great places in Europe as well as in US and Canada. This year already look to turn out pretty great for Black Light White Light as well with quite a lot of stuff coming up son hang in there/here. We are very exited to begin the year with another music video release for the track 'Returning Home', taken from "Infrared Daylight" as well as our music video premiere 'One Fast Move Or I'm Gone' was. This is as much a kind of presentation video of the band. We really hope you dig it and please do share it with as many as possible as well. Catch you soon.

We are proud to announce the release of a new music video for the track 'One Fast Move Or I'm Gone' taken from "Infrared Daylight". This is the first music video for the album. The music video was filmed in the sourthern part of Jutland in Denmark on a cold day in October following the sheepdog Jella. The video is directed by Kristoffer Kiørboe and filmed by Martin Munch. We really love the way these talented good friends of ours have interpret the theme of the song drawing the attention toward an epic landscape and a kind of western atmosphere, but in a Danish context. We think the result turned out beautifully and in its own way different as intended. We hope you'll like to video as well and please do share it. Watch it here. Enjoy!
SIGNING PUBLISHING DEAL IN CANADA!

Seems like X-mas is arriving early this year. Following a great & busy summer + fall with an among other things great experience performing at NXNE Music Festival in Toronto, Canada and then our first ever US tour in October we are very glad to anounce that we have just signed a publishing deal with the Canadian licensing service firm Liberty Music Trax based in Montreal, Quebec. Let's bang in some more doors in North America all you good people.
US TOUR KICK OFF & CANCELATIONS!

We are so happy to announce that we will finally start our US tour tomorrow Friday October 21 at The Green Bean in Greensboro, NC. The last week has really been a journey of up and downs for us since there has been a delay in the US authorities processing our US visa. This means we have been forced to cancel 3 scheduled shows at the tour start - at Southpaw in Brooklyn, Desperados in Washington DC and tonights show at World Café Live in Wilmington, DE. It is with great disappointment we have canceled these shows, but this outcome has been totally out with our control. We hope to come back soon to these cities and good venues and make up for this. Today we have received the our visa and therefore we will travel to US and pick up the tour from tomorrow as scheduled in North Carolina. What a rush, but we are really happy to finally kick off the tour! See ya´ all very soon.

We are gearing up for the first ever Black Light White Light US tour later this month. Starting October 17 @ Southpaw in Brooklyn and ending @ Amplyfi in Los Angeles October 30 Black Light White Light will perform and travel cross US country in just 2 weeks. Yesterday our debut album "Infrared Dayligt" hit the streets. Tonight from 8 pm we celebrate this great occasion with a release party at the legendary and cool rock 'n roll bar Floss in central Copenhagen, Denmark. There will be free beer, we will play a concert in the basement with some samples from the new album - and this will be with a guest in the line up for the first time in Black Light White Light's history. You can of course buy "Infrared Daylight" on LP vinyl - this night only with a huge discount + some cool new merch.
